After just getting by bike dyno tuned, i was hoping for super smooth throttle response in all gears, but i was not completely satisfied especially through the lower gears. There was still that slight jumpy throttle which was difficult to modulate. The xtre definitely solved that problem for me even when i went back to the dyno shop and had them remap the bike to no avail. It really does work nicely. I still notice a difference in smooth throttle and responsiveness even after the dyno tune with the xtre not installed. Its not big difference probably because the dyno tune squeezed everything out of the bike, but there is no more choppy throttle response in low gears. If your really looking to smooth out your bike for that smooth mid corner roll-on and a dyno tune didn't quite do the job, this is your answer.
However i will warn that the instillation was a pain in the ass. Never mind the quick 30min the product description says, try to give yourself about 1-2hr of cussing and head scratching before you figure this thing out. The instructions are there but its finding the cables is what got me. The instructions point you in the general direction but you really have to look close at two big strands of cables to find the one on the bottom left strand just out eye sight. Besides just finding cables, the rest was pretty simple and clear and the box mounted nicely under my fuel tank.
Its well worth it if you want your bike to be silky smooth from start to red line.
