GIPro ATRE On 2016 Bandit 1250S
Installation is a breeze. Plugs directly into the factory harness. It worked right out of the box - no learning or programming needed. I adjusted the display brightness and enabled ATRE Mode 5 per the instructions. It definitely improved throttle response. All in all a great experience. FAST, reasonable shipping by Blue Monkey too !!!

I recently purchased the gipro w/atre for my suzuki dl1000 k7. i was supprised to find the unit was small enough to hide behind a quarter. but after installing it on the lower center of my tach it is the right size. after activating the atre i noticed a smoother idle and much noticable throttle responce improvment. also temp gauge does not hit the third bar when waiting at a long traffic light on a hot has good visabilaty night and day. i have recommended it to my fellow well spent! thanks greg

Bike: 2007 Suzuki DL650 Installation: The installation was plug n’ play. Routing the cable was a small challenge due to the number of other accessory cables I have running through that area. If it wasn’t for my previous additions, it would have been a slam dunk. My only disappointment was the length of the cable. Most people mount the indicator on or around the instrument cluster and the cable length is fine for that location but I have installed an elevated dash for temp and voltage gauges and wanted to install the gear indicator there where it’s closer to my normal line of sight. The cable wasn’t long enough for that location and my preferred cable routing so I mounted the indicator closer to the OEM instrument cluster. Performance: I took it for a test ride this morning n my favorite local twisty (Ortega Highway for those who know it). Acceleration was noticeably smoother and transitioning through the curves was equally smooth. On the return trip I also noticed the engine seemed to be a lot quieter than usual. And, this may be an anomaly I’ll have to wait and see, when I checked the gas mileage, it was 10% better that my last ride a few days ago; same road, same luggage/load configuration. Summary: I only tried 1 of the 5 settings but it was sweet. I’ll try the other 4 over time. I only regret not having installed this sooner.

Good product that works well. Easier than expected to install, didn't have to cut any wires, just nicely clipped into 2 existing plug harnesses. The gear indicator is always accurate and fast, and it's really nice seeing the gear number now. The only hard part was connecting to a 12v power wire since I didn't know how to find one. I ended up using a wire for the rear tail light, so someone will need to use the wiring diagram for their bike and google to figure out how to do that. I actually didn't even end up splicing it into an existing wire, I just plugged it into the plastic wiring harness thing where the 12v positive wire was going, and I smashed it into the same hole on the harness so they were touching. But overall a good product, although I wish it was a little cheaper, but they don't have much competition so what can you do.
